MIAMI – January 24, 2023 – Sitel Group®, one of the largest global providers of customer experience (CX) products and solutions, today announced that its global partnership with Libraries Without Borders, an international NGO that empowers communities worldwide by improving access to education and information, will continue into 2023.
Last year, Sitel Group and Libraries Without Borders kickstarted their collaboration, which saw Sitel Group contribute $10,000 to support the NGO’s community centers deployed in Poland, near the Ukrainian border, as part of its Emergency Program to welcome refugees fleeing the current war in Ukraine and provide protection for displaced families.
In October 2022, Sitel Group also partnered with Libraries Without Borders in France and North America for its global book donation drive for MAX Week, celebrated annually during Customer Service Week. Almost 1,500 books were received from Sitel Group in France, which will enable the non-profit organization to open a “microlibrary”- a living place to promote books, culture and social ties in rural territories of France.
Looking ahead, Sitel Group and Libraries Without Borders have joined forces to create a free digital academy app to teach professional English to as many people as possible, aiming at promoting professional integration and community empowerment. 2023 will see the development and testing of the app, with the first pilot planned in the Philippines, and the architecture of different modules adapted to the BPO sector’s specificities already being worked on.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Libraries Without Borders for another year,” said Olivier Camino, Global COO & Co-Founder at Sitel Group. “At Sitel Group, we are proud to be supporting the organization’s vital work and, having already seen the impact made through our collaboration last year, we look forward to what 2023 has in store. Literacy is a cause that I am passionate about and I’m always honored to be able to give back to the communities in this way.”
“We were struck by Sitel Group employees’ energy and curiosity about our actions!,” said Edouard Delbende, Development & Communications Director at Libraries Without Borders. “The challenge was taken up with flying colors, and today I wanted to take the opportunity to thank every participant for their engagement. The partnership is impact-oriented and full of creativity. Beyond books and financial donations, what galvanizes us is the potential of “co-creation” we are leveraging together.”

About Libraries Without Borders
Since 2007, Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (Libraries Without Borders) has worked to bring knowledge and information to people in need. We provide access and resources that connect people to books and digital resources, expanding the reach of libraries, training facilitators in post-emergency situations, and addressing the needs of under-resourced communities. From laundromats in Oakland, California, to refugee camps in Bangladesh, we bring tools to reduce inequality of access to information and knowledge.
BSF has worked in 25 languages and over 50 countries around the world, touching the lives of six million people. We’ve curated more than 35,000 items for programming that allow us to address the most important issues of our world today: education, health, employment, citizenship, environment and sustainability, racial injustice, secularism.
We work as a humanitarian non-profit that intervenes in difficult situations but also a social enterprise that expands access to knowledge by training facilitators and developing technologies and programs for distribution. We partner with private and public sector actors to connect people to books and digital resources. Our strength lies in our broad range of interventions that together seek to give everyone the capacity to be free and to make autonomous decisions about their future.
